« on: January 09, 2017, 04:03:21 PM »
Went to Pine Center yesterday bought insurance, hooked the trailer (with the bike inside of it) to the SUV. This morning snow delayed the departure for Lake Havsasu until tomorrow when the road down south are clean up. 4 day drive should be riding by the weekend. I will try and post pictures

It took 5 days (Portland had 1 foot of snow the day before we got there). We been here now about a month and I have put on about 1000 kilometres on the bike. Raining cool day when we first arrived filled all the washes with gravel and water  from the mountains around us which made for a learning experience. I have not drop the bike yet but I have had to ride in more sand than I like. Taken a couple day trips on it on the highway to different towns around here. Interstate speed limits are 75 mph with lots of transport trucks. Two up the bike gets a work out every time we hit the highway. I would post pictures but the site won't let me. Over all it was more than worth have the bike in the trailer for winter then hooking it to the suv and dragging it here. The sun is just starting to rise over the east today's weather is sunny and 80f (25c) but they tell me it a dry heat, I think I will play in the sand today
