Auto repair

My kid has been driving my blue mini van to work for a few weeks now and monday night it just quit on him at a bus stop. Hooked my chain on it and dragged it to his place in the birchwood trailer park. Tuesday we delved into it and determined it was a spark issue. Coil tested fine and the rotor was going around---w.t.f? Then I remembered that Doug Timilick's house and shop were close by. Doug is a riding buddy from the old days and a member of the British club. Went to his shop (done rite automotive), picked his brain, ran some tests and ended up more confused than when I started. I HATE electrical problems. Hooked the chain back on and pulled it to his house. A little after noon today he called to say he had diagnosed it with a faulty crank sensor. I told him to go ahead and fix it. 3:15 he called to say it was ready. $320.00 out the door to diagnose , repair and the part and a speedy return. He has a small shop that is very neat, clean and organized. State of the art diagnostic equipment and up to date training. Comes highly recommended by me. Ask nice and maybe he will show you his triumph chopper (the one he still has from the old days) and his 1964 swing arm panhead. He is also doing up a lime green 340 Dart Swinger for his wife. Good place to get your cage fixed. CHEERS!
