Are they the blue ones that sit on the floor, or the black ones that you bolt to a trailer or truck bed?  I picked up one of the blue ones when they had them about a month ago.  They sold them all in a couple of days.

If these are the blue ones, they are awesome... and a bargain at $40.

I just ran over to PA to see which wheel chocks they were. They are not the blue ones.!  They are also not the bolt down black ones that I bought one of previously (I returned it because my bike started to fall over).  This bolt down black one has a squared front wheel catcher instead of the tubular rounded one that I previously bought and subsequently returned.
As always in life the real stuff you want like this blue wheel chock item is not a normal catalog item so the store manager cannot give  a date for its return.

Just a guess on my part but the next time, if there is one , would be next march.  I bought two in March 2012 and then wanted another, because they work better than both the sidestand and the centerstand if you have one. Checked and checked with PA and finally they sad it would be March of 2013. A year later because they are special buy. In the meantime I looked all over the internet to find others at the same price. A no go. You can get close pricing but by the time shipping ect are added they go over $100.

For ease of reference, the awesome blue one looks like this:

I wonder if there might be enough interest in these wheel chocks to commission one of the local fabricating shops to build a bunch for us? Then you could build in all the features of the bolt down model too?

Might run a little more to make but if you're talking about 20 or so it might be attractive to a shop that could use it as filler work.  A couple of shops come to mind that have done good work for me  in the past.

It's always nice to see the "Made in Canada" sticker too......

Why be normal?

I would buy two if they were reasonably priced. Steve C's idea of adding a bolt down feature would make them even more attractive to me. I don't care if they are blue, black or green!

Good luck with reasonable. This one is made in China by underpaid orientals and sold by PA for 49.95.  Profit margin ??? probably 100%  for them. Going price for commercially made in USA copy/original is in the area of 150-200.00.

The ones at PA now have a bolt on cross bar for a trailer etc. Also it has a front wheel lock.

Here is a pic of the one they special order for 50.00 and the one they have in stock now. the blue one is good for in the garage and can be used on a trlr as well. The black one is best used on a trailer.

Liar Liar may your pants catch on fire.
Either I misread the post or the PA people are not very alert.
Read the post at 20:49 about the desired BLUE wheel chocks being available at PA. So at 20:50 called PA to find out how late they were open, then raced over to PA arriving at 20:58 only to have the lady/girl scowl at me as I walked in, so she immediately locked the doors behind me.
They did not know of any blue wheel chocks and before I was thrown out I managed a quick walk-a-about and could not see any.

Danielg's post was for the black ones.  The blue ones were sold out b-4 they even came on sale back in march. I reserved 3 of them a month b-4 the sale was to begin. Since they were a special buy they probably won't be back until next march or possibly never. ????
