This is an adjunct to my other various postings this evening.  I am cordially inviting members to my garage on Sunday at noon to hopefully part out jobs for my GS650 mono shock project.  I want to complete this bike for the Father's Day Show N' Shine and simply will not be able to by then if I do all the work myself.

I am hoping I can persuade Wayne (Fast One ) for the carbs and the starter

Jeff for some work on the frame and some sheet metal work

Blair for the some dents in the tank ( he thinks he can pull them before I stoop to Bondo)

Dave (Stuntman Fubar) for the gas tank and seat cowl paint

Mike for upholstery.

and ... well after that I will probably run out of money.  Just so there is no misunderstanding, you guys are professionals so I am not asking you to come over for a Menonite barn raising.  Tax free cash.

I think it would be fun for us all to meet at the same place and the same time for  this, as well as other members.  This could kind of be like a TV reality show bike build except its not TV and its actually real.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

Hey Dennis sorry Sunday I had plans already. I will try to make it over this week or you can just bring me the parts. If your dent guy doesnt work out I can do that also.

Hi Dennis, we haven't met yet (I don't recall anyway).  I'm Andre and would humbly offer my services as a welder/fabricator to you (and other club members) next time you may require such a thing.
Please keep me in the loop as I'd like to get into doing my own cafe racer but am a total beginner to the scene, and would appreciate coming over to your next tech night and see your accomplishments.

I'm presently keeping an eye open for the perfect donor bike...

Hoping to meet with you guys soon,
Andre.
