The fast boat from China
« on: September 22, 2014, 09:42:22 PM »
Ordered new front brake discs for the SRX from a Chinese vendor on eBay last Wednesday evening. Arrived today by Purolator.... 5 days. No duty.
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

There are some incredible deals to be had from Chinese ebayers.  However, you take your chances.  I bought a beautiful chrome front master cylinder for $25 to my door.  Arrived super quick also.  I'ts sitting unused because the tapped thread for the banjo bold is just too loose.  The banjo bolt isn't tight until the last turn.  It would probably work, but I would always be worried about it leaking or just coming off spilling brake fluid all over my new paint.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

Buying parts that go on a moving vehicle that are made in China to me is a leap of faith.  Some may be good, but I have heard too many stories of inferior parts.  I do hope those brakes work well for you, let us know.
