Father's Day Show 'n Shine, June 15th
« on: June 09, 2014, 01:43:14 PM »
Its that time of year.  We have done so many that we hardly need to coordinate stuff but there are always a few last minute details.

Basically just show up on your pride and joy (or nemesis, depending on the day), and park with us in a group in the corner by the First Nations Cemetery.

Last year we had Russell's cool truck with the banner and his Fort Ware Bobber in the back.  I know Russell has a lot on his plate right now, but lets persuade him to bring his truck and banner again.

We also usually have someone haul down an awning, chairs and schwagg.  Volunteers?

I am still planning on riding the Smithers XS650 to the show.  If it is not finished, it is going in the back of my truck.  It will look good, even if I don't have it running.

Peace & Grease, Dennis.

Big thanks to Paul for hauling down the awning, trailer and four bikes.

Our turn out was smaller than in other years, but still a good Club presence.

There was a notable lack of British bikes.  Ted's late model Triumph and Neil's Ariel were the only Brit bikes.  Glad we had at least one old classic Brit bike there.

Of course, I couldn't resist a shot of the Smithers XS650 Bobber.

Peace & Grease, Dennis
