I am researching my new to me Norton. If you want to do a quick check if your project is stolen got to CPIC, click on the left under search for stolen stuff, enter your serial # and it will check the polices records. ALL for free! Cheers Dave

Having ridden both a 650 Lightning and a 750 Commando would have to lean towards thee Norton. They will even break the speed limit. The true British conniseur would have a Vincent.

I have done the CPIC thing for my Sportster 883 and confirmed it is not on THEIR list of stolen motorcycles. That was a relief and done before I actually paid the money for it and again just recently.
However, I really want to do the ICBC history search because of my theory about my bike parts being an insurance write off. ICBC does charge though, so other than my curiosity about its pedigree, I can't see the advantage of paying ICBC money just to raise red flags when I go to register it as a Ubilt.
