Despite what the thermometer said (7 degrees), Friday was clear blue sky and I was lulled into a false sense of security. Of course I can handle a trip to 100 Mile. Didn't gear up properly and froze.
I took a photo of my 42 year old motorcycle for my high school buddies. I realized later that the BMW wasn't made until 3 years after I graduated.

I sensed something was odd with my transmission. Hard to describe; shifting was a little clunkier and there was more vibration. I realized I had never checked my tranny oil since I rebuilt it several years ago, so I did an oil change. Very discolored and smelled kind of burnt. It was much smoother afterwards.
