Title: June 25th trip

I got back Monday afternoon.  Rick and I left the rest of the club and rode to Smithers hers on Sunday. Guy and Ron rode with the club until the end of the pavement on the  Nisga Highway through the lava beds.  They then rode to Prince Rupert. They joined up with us in Smithers later on Sunday.  We all then rode to PG Monday.  Guy and I stopped at Clucus lake to see Ian.   A good ride but very hot.

What I had forgotten to mention on the first posting was that Clayton rode with Rick and I to Kitwanga.  He stopped for a lunch with us and then preceded north to the Meziadin Lake Provincial Camp site.  Rick and I then rode to Smithers.  I see by the news that there is a fire near Pink Mountain and that highway 97 north is closed.  I wonder if they will back track.  My son said there are some back roads to get around that area.  Not sure is that would work for them.  Good luck to them any ways.

We backtracked from Muncho Lake after we hashed out the alternatives.  Everything good.  The PG people will be home Friday.

Was a fantastic trip, we got to enjoy the best roads twice. Cynthia enjoyed getting to know you all better and being able to provide a place to stay.
