Title: No General Meeting in December
Post by: Olafskii on December 13, 2020, 07:01:16 PM
Gents:
My interpretation of the BC Public Health Order (last updated Dec 11) is that our Club cannot gather for a December general meeting.  The current order expires on Friday Jan 8 we might be able gather on Tuesday Jan 12.  We'll have to wait until Jan 8 to get this info.  For more detail, check out the link below.

Movie nights are theoretically possible seem impractical.  Each of us who aren't part of the same household would need a separate table and everyone must wear masks when not seated.  This arrangement will, I suspect, limit attendance.   So for now, I think that all our club activities should be suspended--until we hear of the new order on January 8.    If restrictions are lifted sufficiently, we may be able to hold an AGM on January 12.

I truly don't want to deliver this news. But unfortunately this is the situation in our Province and this order will protect all of us in the long run.

Thanks.
