I don't have photos yet, but many of you have seen this bike. I am offering this bike up to members at $1300 which is about what I have into it. I bought it for $1,000 a couple of years ago for my son to learn to ride on. His interest waned. This year I put on the ape hangers and extended cables. They were around $150. I bought a new battery for around $50. I never paid Mike (only because he only wanted beer), but if I sell it I morally feel I need to give him some cash for the seat. The solid struts and extended hydraulic cable were just over $100 from Kim at KK motors. The taillight and fender were from ebay a long time ago so thats as good as free by my accounting system.
It is a 1985 Honda Rebel, 250cc, 20K+ kms, awesome gas mileage, uses no oil, runs like a top.
If you haven't seen this bike, it has solid struts (cheapo hardtail) and apehangers. It needs to be painted. I had fun with the fabrication, but the novelty has worn off, and painting is just work to me.

painting is my job so I guess that makes it work for me too :o...........but I'd be happy to help...fix the dent and a satin black finish would set it off just right...

Barry from Chetwynd, I am coming down on October 19th, is the bike still 4 sale? ??? ;D
-
Still for sale. Although I tore the seat in a classic domino spill over in the garage which bent the mirror on my xs650, which put a hole in the seat of the Rebel, which put a dent/scrape in the Chang's sidecar.
Barry if your are in town, I will likely be in all weekend. You can call me in the evenings or weekend at (250) 562-1590.
The bike is currently insured, so you can take it for a spin if you want to.
There are some more photos on the main page taken at the BBQ. Again, the BSA shirt wearing action figure is a prop...although I think he is for sale...

well I have a few seats so thats ok. I do have a ton of trading stock and I am willing to get rid of the red baron. its a hard tail 650 like the yellow one in waynes shop. I have red hard tail, yellow hard tail, yellow stock frame, red custom motor another 650 motor and a whole lot of parts. plus the aforementioned seats. I think we can make out a deal that gets you what you need, and a bike for my 16 year old. 8)[DSCF1026][DSCF1027][DSCF1025][DSCF1028]
