Hello, I'd like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Kris, eldest son of Wayne. I know I have met many of you throughout the years, but I generally pretty quiet. I'm not a biker but I do like motorcycles and now own 2, a 85 Honda 500 shadow and Wayne's one of kind 79 GS1000. It would not do Wayne's memory justice to let that bike go un-riden so I plan on getting my class 6 and getting the bike back together as soon as I can. I'm sure I'll have questions, I'm a body man not a motorcycle mechanic. I'll try not to be too annoying. thnx

Heya Kris. Glad to have you about. One thing you'll learn in this crowd, we're all annoying in our own way, and we still hang together. Lots of good knowledge here to help getting the GS back and running.
