I blasted down to 100 Mile on July 1st to visit family. Intermittent rain, and was able to sit out a deluge.
On the return home yesterday, it was mostly raining, but eased up enough that I sought I would take West Quesnel Road.
The sun broke through, and the riding conditions were great. Most is pretty good condition seal coat.

Somewhere north of Alexandria, and about 60Km up the road was a sign saying the road was closed. I figured I might as well ride to the end.

Turned around and rode 70 kms back to the bridge. I took the turn that says "Hwy 97" thinking it would be a short gravel connector. Turns out it is a twisty hilly and vary scenic road which comes out 15 km south of McLeese Lake.
Pushed on. Pulled over at Dunkley Lumber for a smoke. The Kharma Gods knew I really wanted a beer and left some for me.
