Title: Photobucket has blocked my photos
Post by: Dennis on September 22, 2017, 01:59:42 PM
It was drawn to my attention last Tuesday that the photos on my "Complete Rebuilds" are no longer accessible.  I checked and its true.  I used Photobucket to insert the photos into my posts.  When I first started Photobucket was free.  In the last year I stopped using Photobucket because it became so slow with pop ups and ads.  I switched to another free service Imgur, but only for new photos.  I thought that as long as I occasionally logged into PhotoBucket, my account would stay active.

I logged in today and they want $399 per year to allow my photos to show up on our forum.  Not going to happen.

I hope members enjoyed the builds while they were occurring, but alas, going back to see them now is photo-less.  Maybe I'm the only one who ever looks at them now.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

That's too bad Dennis.  I enjoyed looking at your rebuild photos and most time would go back too see previous picuctures that were posted.  $399 seems like a lot of money.

Yeah, more than a few people are none too happy with Photobucket.

I used to post pictures on this website years ago

Administration..(?)...had to delete all the data that included my projects in order to allow more room for web pics again

stopped loading pics here

Went to poobucket...and lost everything again

Been using Google blogspot for the last few years now with my own link to web page....so far so good

Appreciate the effort taken by those who understand how to upload pics...

.......much more interesting than reading about  how a guy went for a ride and saw another guy on a bike riding too....

Here is a Vintage Bike pic :
