Title: gl1000
Post by: Donovan on July 20, 2017, 09:01:32 AM
One of the Williams Lake evacuees who use to work as a mechanic for New Life Cycle had a look at my GL1000.  He pulled the carbs and it looks as if someone who had the dexterity of an drunken ape worked on them.  Three of the carbs had broken posts for the carburetor floats.  As the posts are part of the casting it is not reparable.  So I am in the market for a set of 1076 GL1000 carburetors.  If any one knows of a source please give me a call or replay to this email.

Brad or Paul would be my best guess, this is a common mistake as most people support the wrong post when tapping out the pin, you want to suppot the side with the nail head and NO sledgehammers! Luck and CHEERS.
