Title: Past performance does not indicate future results.
Post by: Hans on May 22, 2017, 09:56:22 PM
Learned that the hard way yesterday.  The first five puddles were axle deep.... the sixth.... top of the engine.  Whole bike went under while I was trying to get off of it.  Luckily, my cellphone was waterproof and it was only a 2 mile walk out, also I was able to push the bike to a spot where I could recover it with a truck and trailer.  Couple of oil changes later and getting the last of the water out of the decompression system, she fired right back up.  Think I'll do one more oil change just to be happy....

Four more quicky oil changes and I rode her to work this morning.  You may have noticed a bump in Shell's stock price.  Bike popped and farted for the first couple mile, then ran good when I got to the highway.  Strangely seems easier to start.....

Everything works better after you wash it inside and out. :)
