The weather forecast is good. Anyone else still have their bike on the road? I'll be at Starbucks at 15th & Central at 10:30am (don't forget to roll your clocks back tonite or you'll arrive early)
Weather permitting maybe a ride out to Hansard? I'll have the Bonneville.

Great ride out to Hansard today (Sunday NOvember 6). It's new pavement out to Newlands (Newlands is just past the Eaglet lake park)--smooth as a baby's bottom. Thereafter it's a little more standing on the pegs. Beautiful weather, and not too cold. I saw one other bike--a Honda crotch rocket.

Funny, I was wondering how he was able to stay on the ground and not fall into the air.

That Triumph has great lean angle.

I got out myself on Sunday. To the corner store and back on the Whizzer, and a hour or so of boulevard cruising on the Stolen Sportster

I couldn't ride on Sunday or Monday but took advantage of the weather today.
I just returned from a trip to Upper Fraser and what a treat to have 75% of the road in good or reasonable condition.
Road conditions:
Good pavement from PG to Willow River, some grit on a couple of corners.
New pavement from Willow River to approximately 4 kms past Harold Mann Park. Again some grit on a few corners around Eaglet Lake on the return trip.
Old but okay pavement from the end of the new pavement through Newlands incorporation to the railway crossing just before Aleza Lake section.
From this railway crossing to Upper Fraser, the road is rough. They did two or three major patches on this section where the road was intolerable.
I took a breather on the side of the road just past Upper Fraser and a logging truck stopped to make sure I wasn't broken down and to take my picture. It is always refreshing to know that there are still many of us out there that will look out for the welfare of others.
