Things I never dreamed or ever thought I'd do! Took our sibling group of three to Stony creek Friday morning for their Grandma's funeral and ended up helping to shovel the dirt back in the grave--family and friends do it, not a backhoe. That's one. My wife took the 3 oldest to our church for a rehearsal Friday evening and called me because they desperately needed a guitar player for one song on Sunday, being the nice guy I am I said yes. She came home and I went back for the second half of the rehearsal. Turns out they needed me for four songs and one required me to sing. Saturday was supposed to be all practice after doing rotors and pads on the front of my wife's grinding mini van. Might have got in an hour and a half, this morning I got in another half hour and mentally prepared for an epic fail. Pulled a bunny out of my bum and did pretty well, couple of late chord changes nobody noticed and the one with little backup and singing I aced. Even received a few compliments! If someone had told me even a week ago I would be doing either of these things I wouldn't have believed them. Life really is stranger than fiction! CHEERS.
