Title: Status of New Life Cycle
Post by: Shep on May 31, 2015, 01:04:03 PM
Has anyone been to New Life Cycle in Williams Lake lately? Does anyone know if they are still in business?
Thanks
Shep

How're you?  No ones seen you for awhile.

All is well. I am just taking a time out for a spell.
It looks like an exciting summer for the club ==="Ride On"

Rode down to Williams Lake and back yesterday to look at some salvaged K bikes.
It is one of the nicer salvage operations I have seen. However he was not very trustworthy of his customers. I wanted to spend time looking at the bikes and deciding want I wanted to buy and he wouldn't let me peruse them on my own so my time was limited as he wanted to get back upstairs to his storefront for potentially other customers. I am to send him a list and he will pick the parts and I guess I will then get a price for the part.
Nice person.
Perhaps this is the way most salvage operations are. Most of the parts I want need to be removed from the bike before they can be verified as good pieces.  He said he didn't have time to do that on Wednesday.

That would be Dave.  Have you met his wife?  Really though, they provide an invaluable service up here.

Shep, come to the BBQ at Ian's Cabin on Saturday, we miss you.
