Title: Tuesday Moive Night - Thanks Olaff
Post by: Dennis on October 28, 2014, 10:42:14 PM
Tonight's movies were two documentaries; one on Ariels and the other on Vespas.  Both excellent.

The cool thing was these were compiled by Olaff, who hit the web (youtube) and downloaded them to a format we could watch at the pub (Brock Gable's Cowboy Ranch).  This is a great way to fill our need for movies for Tuesdays through our long winter ahead.

My own previous dismal attempt was to purchase a CD of "Rebel Rousers" which I am glad I never subjected the Club members to.  Four or five minutes of some old choppers ridden by Jack Nicholson does not make up for the other 85 minutes of B movie acting.

Last winter I missed many of the movie nights.  I am hoping to be in regular attendance this winter.  We will need more movies to keep us entertained, and compiling from Youtube or other online sources can be great.  I am already thinking up some ideas for some tech videos interspersed with Babes on Bikes.  I did mention it was a long winter.

I am thinking of adding to our monthly Club meeting agenda a discussion on what movies/compilations we have for the ensuing weeks as a regular topic to make these weekly winter survival meetings not only entertaining, but perhaps an attraction for other motorcyclists.

Peace & Grease, Dennis.
