Jer, the date is Sunday, June 1st.

To quote 2wheelsmotorcycle: "Vanderhoof Show N Shine is Sunday, June  1st. entrance is free and so is the breakfast.......starts around 8:00 A.M. and at  1:00 P.M.  we drive or ride out to Daryl Voth's  Ranch for the prizes.....(I've seen some of the prizes and they sure look good this year)..... it's a well worth it day, as was last year.......so lets see if we can get lots of bikes out.....see you there"

I know of 3 or 4 other club members who have stated an intent to go, so we should coordinate a departure time and location.  I suggest we meet at Tim Horton's on Ferry Ave. (near Mr. Mikes Steakhouse) and leave about 8:30(?) - arrive in Hooterville about 9:30.  That's my suggestion.  It would be nice to hear from others who are going.

I am passing this year.  The count down to the Father's Day Show 'n Shine is on, and I need this weekend to work on the Smithers XS650 Bobber.  I'll get no work done next weekend because I intend to be having fun with my Buddies, ridin' to Fort St. James and probably having a drink or two.

I just came in from the garage having sanded off the bondo on the welds.  Saturday  should be perfect for painting the frame.  With luck, I will begin final assembly Sunday when the others are enjoying the Hooterville Hoot.  It really is a great show/event and I encourage everyone else to attend.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

So, after discussing this with a couple other club members, we agreed to depart from Tim's (near Mr. Mike's Steakhouse) at 8:00 AM.  Anyone who can join us at that time, you're invited.  If you want to leave earlier or later, we'll see you there.
