I saw that, and the electric-start Ironhead Sportster oil tank - both seem priced right.  I was wondering if they were things that Mark had at Xcaliber.
Kurt told me that the life of a battery surrounded by 300 degree engine oil was not a happy or long one; but, in spite of that, he is using something similar on his Panhead (though that uses a smallish battery and without an electric starter, doesn't work it that hard, I guess)  Dennis might take note, maybe?

I put them up there. Just started part time at PGHD and part of the job is to get some of the, old/take-off/damaged (slightly) stuff, gone. So if there is something you think you might want/need then pm me and I can take a look around.

Hmm, so Ken is working at PGHD... keep your eyes open for some portions of a Screamin' Eagle ham-can air cleaner set-up; or, I guess, any stock baseplates I could cut into a facsimile.   I have been trying to convince myself to come down there and plunk down $165 bucks for a new one - but without measurable efffect to this point.  The stocker I am running only cost me $5 at Tsawwassen, and though I am sure it is fine for the ultra-mild 883 I have now, at some point I might want the 1200 kit.  Evo Sporty manifold stuff might interest me, too, as I have only a stock manifold and boot.

Speaking of the employee list at the dealers - Harley quit at PG Yamaha, meaning there is nobody who acknowledges the club with a 10-15% discount behind any parts counter in town now;  not good.
