Title: work to do
Post by: Qball on October 20, 2013, 07:18:37 PM
Here are a couple pics of my projects this winter.  just thought I would share
My 1952 BSA A7 which most of you have seen before,
My 1951-55 Matchless anyone with parts free or cheap please let me know.
and my newest aquisition, my 1951 fargo.  It has a ford 302 on propane in it.

I have my work cut out for me this winter if I want the matchless ready to race in the spring.  we will see what I can do.

Gonna try to remount the overdrive on the Fargo?
She sure picked up the pace once you disconnected it!

For the record, Q took her up to 145 on the way home... she's a runner.

ya... Im waiting for the cash from selling my f350 so I can buy a new top end for the fargo (hoping to get high 300s low 400hp out of it...not to race, just because and a paint job on the BSA fenders.  plus the 51-55 matchless running for next years racing.  Man I have a lot to do!
If anyone finds a stock matchless tank for cheap, please let me know.  Key word here is cheap!  I dont want to be afraid of dinging it and have to baby it like I did the BSA at the races :P

Could always use my old Enfield tank with the side rubbers for race day... just sayin'.
