Title: Drag strip run

On Tuesday Guy mentioned that he was going to the drag strip on Friday (tonight)  to watch a buddy of his with some new (to him) intense drag bike. 

I looked at the Northland Dodge Motorsports Park Website, and tonight is an NHRA points event.  Not sure if Guy's buddy is licensed for NHRA racing or not.

Next Saturday (August 17th) is street legal night.  This is the class anyone can run what ya' brung.  If I am not going fishing that weekend, I may be up for another humiliation of 34 second 1/4 miles.

You could race the "speed demon" this weekend and win KING of the hill. Consistency not et is the determining factor. So go for it.

I am sure Dennis will tell you there was no consistency either so no chance of winning king of the hill on that little demon.  I plan to be out and see what my 'new' car can do on the 17th.  Some of you who have cars may want to try them out also.  Hoping for just a bit cooler and no rain that day.
