Title: Looking for a bike
Post by: fast1 on July 30, 2013, 07:19:46 PM
My sky-dive Jumpmaster wants about a 400 commuter bike, nothing fancy around the $1000.00 range. Anybody got or know of one??? Call me-Wayne 596-5414. CHEERS.

It's just what makes some people happy... we'll have to leave it at that.
Like bikes, and other crazy-fun things!

Shoot him my number, okay, Wayne?

Thanks for the tip Jeremy but V-4s tend to be a little thirsty. With all the work Parker put in that bike I'm sure he wants more. Jumping out of "seemingly" good planes is the fastest and most exhilarating non-mechanical sport in the world. Much like the old motorcycle t-shirt said: "to those who understand no explanation is necessary, to those who don't none is possible". Did you get to jump yet this year Peg?? Thanks for the tip Mike, will follow it up. CHEERS.

Didn't jump (yet) this year, been dumping all my spare time & resources into 2-wheeled fun!
Next year for sure... if you ever get down to the Island, definitely check out the Qualicum Beach DZ; what a view!

Heading to PG tomorrow, btw, brought my wheels, bibs & bobs, etc. to take to the fellow you recommended.
Will be back and forth between PG and Terrace till the snow flies.
See you soon...

Peg

Well he found his own. 82 GS 550 with carb issues-go figure. Thanks everyone. The Honda Mike posted the link for is on Juniper and seems pretty good if anyone is interested. Sorry about the Magna Parker, head gaskets on that would be a nightmare. Complicated cooling on those bikes-any chance it's a water pump seal? Have yet to jump myself this year Peggy, maybe this weekend. CHEERS.
