Title: BMW r/60 basket case and Kawasaki 400 cafe racer on Kijiji
Post by: Dennis on June 18, 2013, 11:44:07 AM
This post is an adjunct to the free cb450.  Same seller of all three bikes.  He will send me photos this evening, and I will post them.  At present (further details to be ironed out), we can go look at the BMW at or around 5:00.  It sounds like he has it stored at work.

Here are some photos of the BMW and the Kawasaki.

I have dibs on the funky handlebars on the Beemer.

Guy is on board to have a look on Saturday.  The plan is to meet at my place at 4:30, quaff a cold one, and meet up with the seller.  Even if you are not interested in either of these bikes, this is still a good excuse to get together for a little male bonding gearhead time.

Peace & Grease, Dennis

That sound like a great plan, except I will be knee deep in mud and getting electrocuted.  The real only plus is there will be a beer at the end.....

If someone picks up the KZ400 - keep in mind I have an almost complete KZ400 that could be had.

That kz400 is my old bike I took my rode test on. When I sold it, it didn't have a scratch on it and had zero rust!! I've got some "before photo's" I should post. Sold it for $2750 few years back.

Wow, that got unloved in a hurry.  Too bad, looked like a sweet little ride before...... for a Kawasaki ;)

Unloved or well loved?  A bike ridden and lived with lots can get a little ratty.  My xs650 caf? was all shiny and pretty when first built, but after a few years and some hard miles .... not so much.

Does anyone know what the asking price for the BMW is?  It isn't an especially great bike but might be fun to run around town on.
