as you probably noticed it snowed a lot. On the way to work this morning our oldest daughter got t-boned. She was unhurt but the passenger side of her '01 Cavalier was done. To avoid an insurance claim he offered to buy the car. So on top of running kids all over and taking my Auntie's to lunch phone calls were made, test drives were taken and she is now the proud owner of a black '03 Kia Rio. Nice little car. CHEERS.

Been a slippery winter so far - when I eventually cleaned-up last night's snow and started making my way to the shop today, a young man in a small car passed me going downhill on Massey towards the corners by the stadium. He seemed to me to be going a bit fast. I slowed a bit more to be sure and avoid whatever was about to ensue, and sure enough - he was going a bit fast. He went into the snowbank and up onto the sidewalk.
Jeff has been driving his truck more than usual, or I might have some concerns that this spot - where I often used to see him walking - might represent a dangerous situation for the frequent user.

First off, not a bad deal on getting a newer car....Next, I have seen rubber marks on that exact same corner in the summer....definately not a safe side of the road to walk on, ride a bike or anything. Some clueless people have missed that corner a lot of times.....
