Thanks to Russ, Guy, and Neil for the help with this.  He's a pretty happy camper.

Now lets hope he doesn't end up on Funniest home videos.  Video of him seeing it would have been good....nice looking bike.

So when do you get to go shopping for a dirt bike? Also want to get him a proper motocross helmet with the jaw guard, a chest protector, gloves, boots, Thor racing jersey and pants etc... CHEERS.

Yes, the boy has to earn all the safety equipment before he's allowed to ride it between now and spring.  Many rules and lessons to be learned.

Rolled her out, put in some oil and gas and we have this.....

With the exhaust restrictor in, it couldn't get going without a push.

Aww... takes me back!...  Back before we wore more than jeans, t-shirts and gumboots/sneakers on a motorbike.
For the record, a YZ80 will haul two under-7 year olds (ie. my little brother and I) up and down a dirt road, across fields, and can only be stopped by going thru puddles deeper than the exhaust!
In which case, you need both kids to push it home.
Good show, Hans, I'm sure he'll get a lot of miles out of it. Smart thinking with the safety gear.

Cheers,
Peg
