Title: The "C" word

  No not THAT one. But rather one much worse. Cancer. God I hate that word. Took my uncle. One aunt. One grandma. My MOM. Allwynn. Many others Now my step-MOM. She is very ill and I can only hope she will last until I get to Whitehorse on Thursday. Will have to postpone tech-nite on carbs until I get back. Sorry Dennis. Peace and good health, Wayne.

Losing a parent at any age is heart wrenching.

  Unfortunately My Mom lost her battle about 4 this afternoon. Looks like I am going for a funeral. Life sure does kick you in the nuts sometimes.

Condolences, Wayne - when a substantive portion of life has become a struggling 'kick you in the nuts' affair, I hope, at least, the cessation of those hostilities will bring a period of quiescence in it's wake in which may be found some small relief  - appropriate for the day.

Our condolences, Wayne.  A death in the family is never easy and is especially difficult when it?s a parent.
