  Who actually still has/rides one? Would it be worth organizing a club pedal?

mebbe, I ride with the boy.  He's pretty good.  Knows the rules of the road.

Since I've put motors on mine, I ride regularly - but that's not really the point of this thread...

My bicycle also has a motor.  I'm just a gearhead.  I actually ride it when I go with my daughter.  When we are riding together I try not to use the engine, but once you have one mounted, they aren't much fun old school peddling.  Usually I run the engine but just chug along.  Even doing that I get ahead of her.  No wonder a 60 year Swede is fitter than me.
